A Drawing Competition is an event staged with delays ranging from a week to a month, where drawings, not sprites, are submitted by various artists and compared by the general public. The best five are voted on, and of those five another vote is taken to award the First Place, Runner-Up (Second Place), and Top Five badges.
The winner of the competition begins the next one, and selects a subject. If they are not available, or if they choose to do so, they can allow the runner-up to do so.
Drawing competitions were an idea suggested by Rage, however the first few topics posted in the Arts Board were not successful. Only when they were made official did they start gaining popularity. Though their popularity has been slowly decreasing since, they are still participated in.

Rules
Interpretation of the rules is flexible and may be specified by the starter of a competition topic; however, in general:
- Each participant may submit an unlimited number of entries, but must select only one image as their final Top 5 submission.
- Artwork must be either traditional art, drawn on paper with pencil, marker, charcoal, etc., or digital raster/brush or vector art. "Pixel art" is not allowed.
