The game was, overall, poorly received. While it was noted as one of [[Hello]]'s most unique games, it was also disliked for what was considered an unfair difficulty curve. Like his other games made with his [[Hello Engine]], it utilized [[Super Mario Bros. 3]] graphics, which was regarded as a very poor choice in styles (however the unique tilesets were greatly enjoyed by most players).

The game received mixed ratings. While it was noted as one of [[Hello]]'s more unique games, and praised for its wall jump mechanics, lighting, and its unique use of powerups, it was also disliked for what was considered an unfair difficulty curve. In addition to this, most [[MFGGers]] complained of the use of [[Super Mario Bros. 3]] graphics, which is a style hated by [[MFGGers]] in general. However the unique tilesets were greatly enjoyed by most players.

Another common complaint was the decision to have full-screen mode enabled with Alt+Enter. However, this control was mentioned in the included "README" file, and is fairly common outside of games made with [[Gamemaker]].
