Hello, also known as Hello Fangaming, is a member who joined MFGG in 2006, and is known for the many different fangames and engines he's released at MFGG. He is the creator of the popular Hello Mario Engine, an engine that was used quite often in the past.

Submissions

Many of Hello's earlier submissions were created using open-source engines provided by the community at the time, including the Trisoft Engine and the Ultramario Engine. This all ended a year after he joined MFGG when he started creating engines of his own. At first, the engines he released were of poor quality, but they have improved over time. Version three of his engine ended up being used in a popular fangame called Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.

Criticism

Many MFGGers have criticized Hello's works because of the use of overused graphics like the ones from SMB3, and Black Squirrel. In addition to this, he has been criticized for the lack of code comments in his engine. These problems were rectified in the later versions of the engine, and the Hello Mario Engine was given more code comments than any other available open source Mario engine.
