Like the WIP/Sketch forum, it is currently in a trial stage and may be removed if it proves to be unpopular or useless. It was finally removed because it was proved to be unpopular and useless.

The Sprite Rips sub-forum was created on the 17th November 2007 by Yoshiman along with the WIP/Sketch sub-forum. It's purpose was to contain sprite rips to stop them taking up space in the General Chat. It was situated in the Fangame Discussion although it was suggested that it should be moved to the Submit-it or Arts Board.

The Sprite Rips forum was removed due to lack of activity on the 13th December 2007. In comparison, the WIP/Sketch sub-forum made at the same time, had more than ten times as many topics and far more replies in the same time period.
