The '''Fangame discussion''' forum (Forum 19) is a forum where members can post their recently created games, show the development progress of them or just point out a game that they liked. As MFGG is largely based on [[fangame|fangames]], it is a fairly popular forum, sometimes hosting some excellent games, which in some cases, are even more impressive than the main site's selection. Another point is that games posted in the FD do not have to be [[Mario]] related, although they must still follow the forum rules.

The Development Center, formerly known as the Fangame Discussion, is a subforum of the MFGG Forums focusing on computer application development, including but not limited to fangames.

Any development project of any computer application whose content does not violate standard board regulations may be posted within the Development Center, regardless of its relevance to Mario or whether it is a fangame or original project. However, topics that contain little information or do not sufficiently prove the project's actual development are subject to closing.

The immediacy of submitting a project on the forum, as opposed to the human validation required on the main site, leads many game developers to post their projects within the Development Center long before submitting to the main site, if they do so at all.

Due to its relevance to game development, new members sometimes unwittingly post Help! topics related to game development within the Development center.
