The Great Mistake
The Great Mistake was a controversial event occuring on February 18, 2008, during which the entire forum was deleted by Cutman. It was restored within a few days by the server administrator Retriever II, using a backup.
The Great Mistake ultimately resulted in Jas' resignation as administrator and destroyed MFGGU, which Cutman had co-founded.
Proceedings
Jas, who allegedly wished only to temporarily disable the CCC and General Friendliness as a prank, granted administrative status to The Face and Landmaster, giving the relevant account details to Cutman. Bidbood, who would have controlled Landmaster, was not online at the time and missed the event.
Cutman signed onto The Face and deleted all known administrative figures, including Landmaster and Jas. He then changed the board to the April Fool's 2006 prank All About Beards and disabled the great majority of forum features, and removed every board except for the new "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZEKE".
Jas managed to promote Delmore to administrator before her own removal, allowing him to stealthily delete Cutman and Landmaster. He then replaced HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZEKE with

He created a new account for Yoshiman, allowing them to maintain the remaining board while waiting for Retriever II to sign on and upload a backup.
RII announced a revert to a backup from one month previous. While waiting for this backup to complete, Delmore imposed a rule that all posts must contain the word "meatballs". super duper mario opposed this rule greatly, refusing to say the "M word", so Delmore changed his name to "super duper meatballs".
Eventually, the restore completed, returning normal board function.
What Really Happened

Long story short, I broke MFGG because someone gave me admin access. Why? How? Well simple...
I was under the impression that Jas was fed up with MFGG (who can blame her) and wouldn't care less if it was burnt into the ground. Meanwhile biddy and her were planning a "prank" to make biddy admin and hide the CCC and pretend it was deleted. But biddy didn't want to get banned so he didn't wanna do it. Later he was telling me about this CCC sabotage and I offered to do it (as I didn't care about my MFGG status) and since I didn't have to beg Jas to make me admin or anything I was pretty certain she didn't give two craps about it anymore.
So Jas made The Face and Landmaster (biddy) admin, then gave me the password (because it had been changed since) and I began deleting and messing around. Jas started freaking out and biddy was like "wow you actually deleted stuff" so I figured that they actually DIDN'T want me to kill everything. But oh well it was already too late and the fun was soon over. And now it's back up thanks to backups (which was obviously gonna happen from the start).
So now what? "Cutman r hitler! He caused the great crash of 08!!!!" It's hilarious. No one has their info straight and some people are still calling it a hack. Well I guess it's expected from a forum like that but what I didn't expect is MFGGU to also take a beating from it (it's closed now because they too are mfgg sissies!). Funny how Jas is still around, still taking the lectures. Oh well.
I guess I can finally leave MFGG alone now i've rustled up some trouble. Although I would have AGES ago if so many people stopped talking about it, stopped linking me to it and just quit bringing it up.
