EdeN (now known as Hexyuu Yandere on the forums) is a Chilean MFGGer who joined the main site on August 1, 2009. He has proclaimed to be diagnosed with schizophrenia, asthma, and depression. EdeN cracked the Yellow Egg in the Great MFGG Easter Egg Hunt of 2014, but was not awarded a prize. EdeN composed music for the winning entry of the Super Competition #1, Toads vs. Koopas, and won runner-up in Music Competition #1 of 2015. EdeN composed the music for the runner-up entry of the Super Competition #2, Nightmare's Revenge. He participated at the Secret Santa event of 2015, and his recipient was Friendly Dictator. The gift EdeN made for Friendly Dictator was fan art of Abducted Toad, a fangame that was made by the recipient. Although he was once developing fangames in Game Maker, he has cancelled all of them as he has switched his focus to Unity.

Interests

EdeN is fond of Japanese culture. He has proclaimed his love for anime, his taste for sushi, and his ability to speak Japanese many times. He is from an otaku family, so he started watching anime at a very young age, the first of which being Pokémon. For a time in 2014, he set out to watch every existing Pokémon anime, but his attention had since shifted to Kiniro Mosaic. He has declared a sexual preference for drawn female characters, due to their physical perfection, and he has stated his lack of attraction to material girls, which he has implied to be due in part to the physical aging process. He advocates that reality is based on perception and not material, which he uses to reason the rationality behind his preference. He has also claimed to have met his waifus in dreams, which he considers to be an alternate reality, wherein he has dated his objects of attraction. EdeN has over one-hundred waifus from various anime shows such as The Idolm@ster (Iori Minase being one of them), though according to him, his 'main' is Karen Kujou from Kiniro Mosaic. His favorite animes are The Idolm@ster and Kiniro Mosaic. This has not, however, prevented him from acquiring multiple sweethearts through Facebook.

He is a huge Idolm@ster fan, and he has downloaded almost the entire soundtrack of that anime. He rushed into it when he first watched it, and claims that he felt sad when he finished watching so soon. He also likes Kiniro Mosaic, but mainly because he wants to see Karen, his favorite waifu.

He is the most active member on the Forum Games subforum.

Controversy

Eden has been the subject of massive ridicule and flame due to his alleged attributes as a weeaboo, his acquired form of online romance, and his occasionally inappropriate incompetencies as a visual artist.

Before the creation of Forum Games, edeN had been criticized for spamming General Chat with forum game threads. The volume of forum games created by him greatly contributed to the controversy over forum games on MFGG, and irritated many members. No punishment was ever dealt to him, as rules regarding forum games were very vague at the time, but the potential for mass-posting forum games was taken into account when Forum Games' rules were being designed.

On March 3rd, 2015, edeN posted his first thread designed to vent offline life frustrations, titled "I'm sad...". The OP was vague regarding the nature of his issue, but he made it clear he was having issues with his emotional state in the context of his family. DJ Coco redirected him to a more proper thread for him to post his issue in, however, edeN simply elaborated on his problem in the existing thread, probably due to the thread already having been created. He said that his relationship with his mother had been strained ever since his school grades had been diminishing, which he attributed to his schizophrenia medication. He stated that she had violently assaulted him on one occasion, which he deemed unfair, and it made him furious. He claimed to punch his mother back fifty times, and that it made her nose bleed. He later regretted it, and said that he simply cannot control himself at all times. He went on to say that his aunt had made him angry, but that he was able to not sock it in her face just in the nick of time. In a later post, he said that his mother has little patience for his mental disorders, and that she is more often irritated than the rest of his family. He stated that she often abuses him, and that she needs professional psychiatric help in the same he does, but that she does not believe so.

On November 14th, 2015, he quoted a post he wrote from another forum wherein he detailed that his English girlfriend, whom he has only been able to meet and communicate with through Facebook, had her account locked twice due to it containing a fraudulent name and misleading avatar. He then speculated that her parents had demanded she deactivate her Facebook account and avoid all communication with him, even over alternate channels such as Steam. Members then attempted to inform him that he was not in love as he claimed, but rather, infatuation in a manner comparable to Kissing Booth Theory. Since then, he has gone through many sweethearts, most of whom he interacted with exclusive through Facebook.

There have been many accounts of him being accused of posting too frequently, and being obsessed with anime girls. He typically responded in a poor manner, and with great hostility. He later requested that members assure him his problems do not lie on him, and that he is a nice person. EdeN had built up a reputation for flooding General Chat with threads detailing the events and troubles of his life, which many members had little care for. He had written many threads requesting technical assistance, and on one occasion, he requested assistance for a problem he had previously encountered and solved. His flooding was the driving force in the creation of a universal "Life Events" thread. On the occasions he failed to direct an appropriately fitting post to the respective thread, he defended himself by claiming his problems were too important for the thread, because they needed special attention. However, he generally refused to accept cynical advice, particularly regarding artificial attraction towards females.

He was particularly ridiculed on the MFGG Skype Group , partially due to the nature of its userbase, but also because of the messages he has sent there regarding anime, waifus, drama, and masturbating. Almost all of his animated avatars and signatures since early 2015 have been defamed as obnoxious and distracting, and the nature of his choice topics has resulted in him being accused of venting all of his frustrations on MFGG. Prior to the creation of the "Life Events" topic, he had admitted to this, but explained that he did so because venting made him feel better. Because he has reacted very harshly to negative statements regarding anime girls, claims to have over one hundred waifus, has a strong desire for dakimakuras and T-shirts which portray his waifus, and writes "desu" in most of his posts, many MFGGers have complained, mostly off-site, that he is an inexcusably passionate weeaboo, and consider him somewhat unapproachable as a result. Despite Forum Games not increasing post count, there have still been some complaints that he posts too frequently in that sub-forum.

On June 10th, 2015, edeN entered the Joke Game Contest #1-2015. He was immediately barraged with critiscm of inappropriately racist commentary and horrendous graphics. He defended himself by claiming that a video game cannot be funny if it has well-constructed graphics, has effort put into it, and that offensive material is inherently humorous to mature and sophisticated viewers. He also excused his racism by claiming that mere racist symbolism is acceptable. HylianDev removed the link to the game an hour after it was originally posted, and the entry was disqualified from the competition. The game has since gone through behind-the-scenes circulation. EdeN eventually apologized, and sent an apologetic mass-PM to all members who complained about his entry. He melodramatically declared his leave from MFGG, but later took it back.

On Secret Santa 2015, edeN drew Toad and Cappy for Friendly Dictator in Microsoft Paint. Prior to the gift giving, Santa told edeN that he should put more effort into his submission, and design a better gift. EdeN made minor improvements to his drawing, and the gift was delivered. Upon its delivery, many members were shocked by the apparent lack of effort put into the drawing. Several members apologized to Friendly Dictator for receiving such a gift, and collectively banded together to construct a superior Christmas gift for him in the form of an Abducted Toad fangame. Unfortunately, that fangame was never finished.
