He claims that this is due to his general inability to draw humans -- it's more acceptable to get half of the anatomy wrong on something else, logically enough.

Draco Icebane is a standard member of the MFGG Forums whose outspoken nature and unconventional morals have gotten him into many a scrape throughout the forums' lives.

He has a bad habit of starting many simultaneous projects and not making progress on any of them.

He recently became very angry and stormed off of the board, but may return if he has something worthwhile to contribute to the community. We can only wait and see what we get ...

General Personality

Draco is extremely strong in his opinions, not always in his support but undeniably so in his wording; he is often quite offensive and blunt, stating his views factually and claiming any other method is due to faulty logic. He often refuses to back down in any argument regardless of the case against him, and may degrade the argument into insulting his opponent or emulating a Phoenix Wright case. This general mindset is met with varying degrees of approval or disapproval by his peers, generally tending towards negative response from authorities and as time has passed.

Although arguably quite intelligent, he is not very well motivated and his patience leaves much to be desired. His fangame projects are rarely completed, although he has completed a few generally well-accepted drawings in digital media, as well as a song or two, and engine tests that he has released were generally well-accepted.

Achievements and Hobbies

Old Hexis screen

Draco starts and rarely finishes several projects primarily in Klik programs, such as Hexis. He had begun this when the For the King Minigame competition was announced in about 2005. He still has not finished it.

  • Mario Awesome - The standard "Let's make an awesome Mario fangame" deal. It is not finished.
  • Hexis - A puzzle game that was never finished either.
  • Fire Emblem Online - Ryo didn't do it
  • Origin of Mobius - Yeah like Draco can do an indepth RPG in any practical amount of time
  • Rockbell - If he finishes that Mega Man engine, maybe he can make this game!

It is clear that Draco has some sort of disorder preventing him from staying on one task at a time.

Artistic

Draco's skill in graphical arts is limited almost strictly to spriting and vector, which he is fairly competent at, but by no means legendary. Were his lack of motivation and patience to be skillfully defused, he would likely enter the competitions on the forums more often. As things stand now, he does not.

Draco is terrible at almost any form of physical art and dislikes the lot. The exception is standard drawing on paper, which he is nonetheless not very good at. (He's also a damn fine breakdancer.)

Draco is often considered a furry due to his current tendency of drawing anthropomorphic characters in considerably less child-friendly manner, although he generally draws the line at suggestive nudity (albeit it is often blatantly suggestive). He claims that this is due to his general inability to draw humans -- it's more acceptable to get half of the anatomy wrong on something else, logically enough.

He has recently tried to draw a human or two, though...

Member History

Draco joined on October 22, 2001 on the ezBoard, where he released a demo of Ultimate Mario, the "worst best Mario game ever". It held one test level and a myriad of horrendous programming errors, not the least of which was playing extremely loud noises for no conceivable reason. This project has since been paused.

Constant arguments with the staff, Quickman and Cutman led to Draco receiving bans at an alarming rate, which was only broken two years following with King Piranha Plant's arrival, which doesn't count, since he made lots of dupes. Draco is on the last few warns of his second page at this time; another one exponentially increases his risk of a permanent ban.

Due to his questionable ethics and temper, Draco is extremely argumentative; combining this with his inability to leave an argument, Draco is the only regular member to obtain a two-page warn log without an indefinite ban.

Defiance of the Trasher

After Trasher had banned SonicProject for fifteen days, Draco was informed by SonicProject over AIM. Draco contacted FanGuy and asked him to take a look at the situation, without giving any suggestion of action. The result, at FanGuy's best judgment, was that SonicProject's ban was lowered, while Delmore and Trasher were suspended for five days. This sparked public outrage.

Draco then wrote a poem entitled "The Graven" to explain what had happened. Although it satirically villified Delmore and Trasher, it was generally well-accepted and recieved moderate praise. Draco was never issued any warning, verbal or actual, for its inappropriate timing or theme.

Trivia

  • Draco isn't actually a damn fine breakdancer. That's a joke. He might practice though, to back up the talk with some walk.
