AppleQueso joined on July 22nd, 2006. He is a relatively new poster, and is most active in the Pointless Post Palace, though he occasionally posts in Arts Board and General Chat. He was the winner of the 52nd Drawing Competition.
Character
AppleQueso's character was originally a stylized drawing of himself, but it was changed to "A Giant Ninja Octopus With A Five-O-Clock Shadow And A Deep Voice Holding Eight Machine Guns In One Tentacle That Instead Of Firing Out Bullets, Fires Out People Holding Swords That Are On Fire," or simply Giant Ninja Octopus, a character that AQ posted about in his first "official" topic. (His real first topic was in the Fangame Discussion, and it was about a Megaman project that never got off the ground.)
The Ninja Octopus would occasionaly be brought up in other topics, but recieved little to no attention. AppleQueso, tired of having to explain the character every time he wanted to see it drawn, decided to make it his avatar and reference. Replacing the depiction of himself.
Activity
AppleQueso spends most of his time in the PPP, where he can be found rapidly creating topics with little to no value. Other than that though, he can be found posting drawings in the Arts Board, participating in Request Topics, or just generally browsing the General Chat
Reputation
Most members regard AppleQueso in a positive light, mentioning that he is above most new posters. His drawing usually get positive feedback, and he has yet to be warned. He has had topics locked before though, but it's usually caused be derailing rather than contraversial subject matter.
Interesting Facts
- AppleQueso got his name while signing up for Hotmail. His other choices: "Radioactive Apple" and "Senor Queso" were taken, so he combined them into one word.
- AppleQueso doesn't have a computer at his home. Instead, he uses the computer of his real life girlfreind, Kompeitou
- AppleQueso has nearly 40 active original characters of his own and is very proud of that.
