Request Topics
Request Topics are topics where MFGGers are allowed to request something from another MFGGer. Usually found in the Arts Board, request topics have become quite popular, although many MFGGers dislike them flooding the Arts Board.
Usually a request topic is made when an MFGGer wishes to make something for whoever wants it. It is considered an act of kindness, and many members try to return the favor later on. There are, however, some that have not bothered to repay the other person at all, which has been regarded as somewhat unfair. Some request topics have been too stressful for the creator (Namely Stixdude as well as others), which is why they aren't always considered a good thing. Many have inspired some members to leave because of stress too.
Another problem with request topics is that they take up a lot of room in the Arts Board. Many pieces of artwork have been overshadowed by request topics, which has annoyed many members. Retriever II at one point considered creating a sub-forum for request topics, although no action was taken. Members suggest it again from time to time.
Request topics are often confused with the General Friendly-ness topic, being how they are very similar. However, the General Friendliness does not have requests as members tend to make things for other members out of them just being nice.
A new sub-forum was then added to the Arts Board with the name of General Friendliness, with all request topics moved there. This has cleared up the Arts Board a lot.
