Introduction

RetroX is a user on MFGG formerly known as Yoshi_d3d and MarioGames (not to be confused with Mario Gamer). RetroX is currently a decently-known active user on MFGG, whom often dives into arguments before thinking things through.

Overview

Originally, RetroX (being very young at the time) joined a few Game Maker websites under the alias "alexc4242," which was later changed to "Game Pwner" (because he thought it was cool at the time, while everyone else thought differently). He began to get flamed, and spammed everyone else (which was a dumb thing to do, because he was banned shortly after).

However, after that, he registered on MFGG as MarioGames. He spent a lot of time on it, and was amazed at how big the community was. After spending time learning how to make 3D games in Game Maker, he changed his name to Yoshi_d3d. He spent lots of time with this name, and a bulk of his time on MFGG.

He joined more fan sites like this, but things weren't so hot there either. Soon after, he decided that he needed a new username. He changed it to Dimensional on other sites for a week, but then decided to stick with Retro. He changed his name to Retro on MFGG, too, and liked it.

Eventually, he decided to retry on the other sites and begged the staff to let him back on. He was given a second chance, but unfortunately at that time someone else was causing a catastrophe on the website. As ClassixArcade on the site, he revealed himself as RetroX, and now is still an average member today.

On MFGG 2.0, he is known was RetroXYZ. After the recent hacking of M:FM, he was known as RetroX. On the new forums, he was finally able to change his name to RetroX.

Present

Currently, RetroX is a member of Metroid: Fan Mission. He often goes to M:FM, MFGG, and is also a co-webmaster at Mega Man Fangame Network (under the alias Bitman-EXE), run by Nad, himself, and Searchman-EXE (Nad's friend).

Character

RetroX's character is represented by a green and black humanoid figure. In other words, a pixel person. RetroX has created some newer digital references due to people assuming his character to be an earth/rock person from a grayscale sketch he had drawn (in which, the "pixels" looked more like coal due to the color). The "pixels" that make up RetroX's character are sometimes shown as rounded rectangles in larger images as opposed to squares.

RetroX's character was originally a black stick figure with white eyes and a white mouth and no connections to limbs. However, this reference was abandoned simply because it was "just another generic reference".

Website

Currently, RetroX is working on a website named The Source Box, in hoping of having a generic resource site. On this site, he will mostly promote original content, and encourage fan content to be posted on other websites instead, like MFGG and M:FM. The website is (will be) administrated by Nad, Taiki, and Kuroshi (Taiki's Friend). The website is being completely coded by scratch in PHP.

Other Notes

  • RetroX is also usually associated with users such as Taiki and Nad
