The new version of the MFGG forums runs on phpBB, which has numerous improvements over the previous software. Due to enormous backlogs on the Invision forum, previous bans are considered void. The CCC will not make a return, instead supplanted by a more lenient GC.
For a few days after the opening, both forums will be in use simultaneously to ensure there are no problems with the move. Afterward the Invision forum will be archived.
For a period of one week after the opening, usernames will be "protected" by admins, meaning an attempt to claim a username already being used by an existing member can be contested by that member; after that week, this will no longer take effect.
