Ultimate-Super Mario (USM) was a member well known for his egotism, tendency to amusingly overreact in any situation, and extreme and usually inappropriate usage of smilies.
He first gained notoriety when he created a topic titled Do You Think My Smash Bros. Melee Game Is Better Than All The Others? His post, containing the phrase:

caused many members to attack the game. His response to these posts was somewhat frightening to some members.
A few weeks later, he created a topic called Are Good! Enough! Programmer/art-soldier! The Few,The Proud, The MAGMA TEAM!! in which members applied to his "team" by filling out some information. Predictably, most of the completed applications were jokes, and before long the topic grew to 10 pages. Of course, most of these pages consisted of members prodding USM until he overreacted.
Eventually USM gradually faded away, and a few of his posts became short-lived fads.
