It stars Kirb the Shy Guy, Kirb the Koopa, and an Undertale FC Kirb made known as "Chisk" all on a Yoshi's Island-type world with the theme of Super Mario World, complete with Mario World's abilities, custom enemies and abilities as well, and even different toggles to modes the game could have. Different modes include Combat Mode, where the player is able to fight the enemies in the style of Mario Combat. The game will also have toggles for controls, where as Kirb the Shy Guy can jump like Mario, a toggle can be switched to have him use his Sonic the Hedgehog-type abilities to be able to jump like Sonic would, curling into a ball and being able to stomp enemies and break breakable bricks that way.

It includes Kirb the Shy Guy winning an island in a contest he never entered (Luigi's Mansion reference), and he takes his two friends with him. After getting to said island, they are then trapped under a barrier of solid matter, where the only way to escape is to beat the boss who made the barrier in the first place. The trio travels all over the island to search for different colored stones, each having the capability to show them the way to the boss so they can defeat them and escape the island. There are 7 stones in all, much like the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic. There will even be a bonus mode for beating the game 100%, along with other things to do in the game. Mini Games, an arena to fight any bosses unlocked in the game (Meaning you have to beat them first before you can fight them again in the arena), and a shop where you can get various upgrades to help yourself on the journey are all different things you can mess around with however you please.

He's as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog, has strange, magical powers that he gets from his parents (not in heredity, but they physically gave them to Kirb. He's 15 years old, has a partially dark green robe, has pupils in his mask somehow, and at times his legs can be seen from whenever his robe is raised up to reveal them. He has got a lot of friends (so many that it would be impossible to name them all). He also has parents, and they were the ones who gave him his powers. He sometimes joins Shy Guy Kirb on his adventures, but the Shy Guy has never been on one in a long time. He also has a "future" self known as '''Kirb the Koopa''', who is from a different timeline where Kirb never got any of his abilities. He had come into contact with a meteor that fell into the Mushroom Kingdom, and somehow gained dark magic, a "better" form of black magic. He tried to travel back in time to see his past self, not caring for any time travel screw ups that would occur, but ended up being sent to the main timeline instead (the one where Kirb has all of his powers). Seeing how the pasts and futures never connected with those timelines, Koopa Kirb remained existent, and never vanished.
