WINE is a Free(Free Beer and Freedom), Open-Source Program for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and BSD that allows non-Windows users to run Windows Programs without Emulation.
Current Versions
Stable:Wine 1.4.1
Development: Wine 1.6-rc5
WINE's Definition
WINE is an Acronym for WINE Is Not an Emulator. This is true. WINE does not Emulate, it expands the Kernels of the Operating System to be able to run Windows Programs. So what it really does is tries to combine Windows with GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and BSD.
Current Errors
No current bugs have been reported and or found with stable version 1.4.1 or its 1.6-rc5 beta build.
