The Phanto Zone is a fangame by Friendly Dictator. It's his entry for the minigame category of King Boo's Halloween Spooktacular, and won first place as everybody that voted at the minigame category voted for The Phanto Zone.

Gameplay
The player controls Luigi, who must avoid all of the Phantos as long as he can. If a Phanto touches Luigi, he'll lose a life and once all of Luigi's lives are lost, the game ends. Sometimes, a powerup will appear which can cause an effect on Luigi.
Items
- Fire Flower - Gives Luigi a shield of fireballs. When a enemy touches a fireball, they will both be taken out.
- Star - Gives Luigi temporary invincibility, and the ability to take out enemies by just touching them.
- Mini Mushroom - Temporarily shrinks Luigi down into half his size.
- 1-up Mushroom - Gives Luigi an extra life.
Enemies
Variations of the Phanto enemy may show show up, where they just act the same expect for different speeds.
Reception
While The Phanto Zone won first place in the minigame category of King Boo's Halloween Spooktacular, the game actually got mixed reviews in the main site. They praised the power-ups and it's online highscores, but they criticized the repetitive and generic gameplay.
