Zero Kirby joined MFGG on August 15th, 2006. He really hasn't ecountered many problems other than being (jokingly I guess) hit on by Sergeant Jinpen several times. However on September 19th, things turned sour.

His forum was spammed by someone and he was suspended for bringing it up on the forums a violation of the outside dispute rule. A similar named account, thought to have been a dupe, was created soon after, and Zero was given an additonal 2 days-ban. Someone else made 3 more accounts pretending to be Zero, in an attempt to get Zero banned. However, Klobber discovered one of the e-mail addresses used for the dupe was "dwangster@eskimobob.com", implying that Jinpen may have been behind the accounts.

He was also banned later for flaming Draku.

He has recently gained a little popularity among a few members for being good with Game Maker. Trying to worm his way into the world of spriting, he has since begun a secret project.

He also mods the Gaming section of Fantendo, and hopes to work out good relations with any aspiring game makers.

Recently he has displayed animosity towards MFGG's forums, but retains a healthy relationship with the Main Site, where he continues to contribute several reviews.

His Games

  • Super Mario Classic - Renovated. Zero was able to finally get ahold of the source code and spruce it up. However it is now very poor by standards. He's submitted to MFGG.
  • Super Mario Galaxy Space Patrol - Complete. A space-shooter mini-game with five levels of difficulty, however repeated. Accepted to MFGG. It was also used in the staff application, something Zero did not expect.
  • Super Mario Bros. Speed Math - In Progress. A Edutainment/Twitch mini-game that won Second Place in the 29th Minigame Competition. It plays through the first level of Super Mario Bros. but the rest of the game is planned.
  • Super Mario Classic Return - Completed, hoo-freaking-ray. Now on MFGG
  • Super Mario Classic Two: Mushroom Archipelago - First Level Demo. Too lazy to add more...
  • Incredibly Weird Detective: Makin' Bacon Ultimatum - You probably don't want to know. By the way, what is it with me and extremely long names for my games? Hmm.
  • Project S.Q.U.I.R.E. - Created by Dex, Zero Kirby is the main programmer and concept artist.

His Art

He has a bit of a manga/anime style of art thing going on. His friends in real life seem to really like his drawings, or so he thinks.

He's gotten quite a few compliments for his art, but there are the people who critisize it. Meaningfully. All in all, they're pretty much all he's recognized for anymore, aside from his games.

Just Another Just Another Day

Just Another Just Another Day is a webcomic run by Zero Kirby. Unlike other webcomics, however, he does not contain them within a typical archive; all the comics are hosted on his Photobucket and posted on various forums he goes to, including MFGG.

The comic is meant to be a satire of a popular webcomic genre of wacky adventures with friends or classmates from school; hence the title, taken from a common title of this genre, which are often variations of the phrase, "just another day." Hence, since this is just another one of them, it's "just another" Just Another Day.

The satire involves making the adventures wildly insane, however, it often calms down and discusses current issues. Oddly enough, even though it satires the entire genre of school adventures, it is meant to be very different in the aspect that there will be few in-jokes; and funnily enough, there aren't, not yet.

While Zero both draws and writes the comic, he often gets help from one of his friends in real life, who is the co-star of the comic. The comic duo ends up with Zero in the straight man's role and his friend in the wacky comedian's role.

It also features a unique style, that despite being completely computer-generated for the webcomic version, the whole comic is drawn in greyscale with pencil sketch effects applied and the familiar blue lines of notebook paper.

So far, comments about it are mostly positive, excluding Metroid: Fan Mission's userbase, which seemed to dislike it. Here's a link to the MFGG topic.

His Character

Blond spiky hair parted to his left; hair points down from the ears down. He also has blue eyes.

He's recently added a leather jacket to his repotoire. Add to that a red sweater with distinctive markings, dark blue jeans, and red-and-black shoes, and you've got him.

Oh - and he's kinda on the short side.

OSHI-Meter: Special Expose! The Disguise!

It was revealed to be a over-glorified game progress meter, detailing how far away he was from completing Super Mario Classic: Return. It has since retired and is on vacation in Acapulco.

It recently returned to host the countdown for Super Mario Classic Two, but disappeared along with the rest of his old signature when he realized MFGG was breaking down. It has since been replaced with a Mad Libs, a comic advertisement, a link to one of his YouTube Videos, and the message, "You people disgust me."
