Pikaboo is a relatively new member to MFGG. He can be a little self-conscious and prefers positive remarks over criticism. He is easily discouraged, thus the reason many of his games were never finished. Although he has been using Game Maker for about 3 years, he still has trouble with GML and often uses Drag and Drop. He has little friends, but he gets along well with most people. Some of his best friends are MegaTailzChao, Peardian, and Ravan, but he is also friends with a majority of the people that go to iScribble, including Sword, Mechant,and Gato.
Pikaboo is an average spriter and enjoys using the "soft shading" style of Pokémon sprites. He has won a Sprite Competition and placed in the Top Five of two others. Also, he has placed in the Top Five of a Drawing Competition. He sort of adapts well to different spriting styles.
Pikaboo has also recently gotten into the music area. He enjoys remixing and remaking video game music. He's lately gotten into composing as well. He has placed first in one Music Competition.
On August 30, 2007, Pikaboo created the Caveman Avatar Fad, where Pikaboo drew members as cavemen or prehistoric versions of themselves. This topic can be viewed in the Vault.
That summer, he also began MFGGmon, a spriting project where he sprited members in the aforementioned Pokémon style. He has been thinking of starting this project again now that his skills have improved.
Pikaboo is also a member on iScribble and comes on to play/draw, during his free time.
Pikaboo's Characters
Many people have drawn Pikaboo because of his character's unoriginal originality. Pikaboo is a yellow Boo with Pikachu ears, a Pikachu tail(with only 1 or 2 curves), a tuft of hair on his head, bushy eyebrows, Pikachu cheeks, and lines for eyes. Pikaboo's ears are the same height as his body, and one of his hands occasionally covers one of his cheeks. Pikaboo's name was created when he joined a Pokémon forum as an idea for a fitting name. He later created his character when he created his Pikaboo account.
He has also recently created a human character as well. It is based off of himself. He has long, dark brown hair that stops just below his eyes and just above his shoulders, covering up his ears. The hair wings out in the front, sides and back. He is usually depicted wearing a brown shirt with dark brown sleeves, and khaki shorts orpants. He also wears a purple scarf with a light blue stripe running the length of it. Around his neck is a sapphire spyglass with certain special powers. He can also be seen drawn with charcoal grey or black cat ears and tail.
Pikaboo and Ryguy
Many people believe Pikaboo to be an '07er, but he is actually a very early '06er. Pikaboo joined on January 17, 2007. But he originally joined on January 7, 2006 under the name of Ryguy. He abandoned his old account because he believed himself immature at the time, and wished to create a new image of himself. To this day, he is known as Pikaboo and dislikes being called Ryguy.
