Yoshi Dash! is a fangame made by Mors and Tortwag, originally for the Minigame Competition #29 on the MFGG 5.5 forums. It placed third in the competition, with only one vote received during the voting phase. It's a re-imagination of Yoshi Touch & Go.

Story

Toadies have invaded Yoshi's Island, and a Yoshi was running away from them, as the Toadies are trying to kill the Yoshi. No sign of Toadies going after the Yoshi is seen anywhere in the whole game, however.

Yoshi Dash DX

In the 16th of March 2014, Mors released an improved version of Yoshi Dash!, which was actually finished several months ago before its release. It is called Yoshi Dash DX and features some bugfixes, better graphics, better music, an improved main menu, and some little changes.

Reception

Both Yoshi Dash and its improved version are considered by many to have poor physics and needlessly high, frustrating difficulty, but have received praise for their graphics, fitting music, and creative concept. They have received mixed to negative reviews, with an average score of 5/10 and 2.7/10 for Yoshi Dash! and Yoshi Dash DX respectively, on the main site.
