Pre MFGG
YoManRuLz first got interested in game making after playing the flash game "Fancy Pants Man, World 2", and looking through the creators website. When he soon realized he wasn't going to program in C++, he found Game Maker. He joined YoYogames on the 19th of March 2008. He lurked on their forum while he learned the 'art' of GML. At the time, he was mainly making top down games and having problems with platformers. He wanted a place where he can submit his games, and encourage him to finish games. YoYogames wasn't a place where he wanted to stay. But through the power of google, he found MFGG. After being a lurker for so long, he joined the main site on June 16th 2009. Then, he joined the forums on September 6th 2009.
YoManRuLz the MFGGer
He quietly slipped into the community, and has become a regular poster. His posts generally start with his meaningless first thoughts, then continues with his real post.
He tries to be friendly, but he has a hard time picking out internet sarcasm.
Facts and Stuff
His name has nothing to do with YoYogames, but is a random inside story.
He added RuLz to his name because when he tries to register somewhere, there is already a YoMan. And if you ask him "why RuLz?" he will respond "because I duz".
