Xgoff's defining characteristic is his dangerous idiocy. He self-proclaimedly experiments with bizarre and often clearly dangerous components.
He has a tendency to construct extremely complicated and detailed theories about random things; most of these theories include excessive verbosity, the precise meaning of which intentionally eludes even himself.
Xgoff was once working on fragments of the engine for Ryo's Fire Emblem Online game, but it is unknown whether this project continues; apparently both Draco and Xgoff has ceased production.
He is known for his inability to complete what he starts and also his tendency to save nearly everything he finds that "could prove useful later" yet most of the time do not. Because of this, his hard drive contains at least 700MB of incomplete game projects, and a plethora of images and HTML files. A problem with installing Windows XP on his old computer also rendered most of his files corrupt; or he did not take advantage of the hard drive recall that involved the particular model number his computer came with.
Xgoff is one of the very few active members who does not depend on the Pointless Post Palace for survival, yet he believes removing it would have unwanted effects on the rest of the boards. He is also somewhat known for his unprecedented poetry and other things.
Xgoff uses or has used the following programs for his fangames:
- ZZT - 2 years (no longer used)
- Megazeux - 1 year (no longer used)
- The Games Factory - 2 years (no longer used)
- Multimedia Fusion - 3 years (used when backwards-compatibility is needed)
- Multimedia Fusion 2 - 5 months (currently in use)
Currently, Xgoff retains his habit of starting and stopping many projects that have little relevance to each other.
His current project is Mario: Revolution
