Xgoff's defining characteristic is his dangerous idiocy. He self-proclaimedly experiments with bizarre and often clearly dangerous components.

He has a tendency to construct extremely complicated and detailed theories about random things; most of these theories include excessive verbosity, the precise meaning of which intentionally eludes even himself.

Xgoff was once working on fragments of the engine for Ryo's Fire Emblem Online game, but it is unknown whether this project continues; apparently Xgoff has ceased production, while Draco has said nothing on the subject.

He is known for his inability to complete what he starts and also his tendency to save nearly everything he finds that "could prove useful later" yet most of the time do not. Because of this, his hard drive contains at least 700MB of incomplete game projects, and a plethora of images and HTML files. A problem with installing Windows XP on his old computer also rendered most of his files corrupt; or he did not take advantage of the hard drive recall that involved the particular model number his computer came with.

Xgoff is one of the very few active members who does not depend on the Pointless Post Palace for survival, yet he believes removing it would have unwanted effects on the rest of the boards. He is also somewhat known for his unprecedented poetry and other things.

Notable major projects:

  • SMB3D - A "3D" version of SMB3, never completed due to issues with OpenGL. However, Xgoff has recently completed a working rendering engine that is equivalent to what this game would have used. It is unknown if this game will be attempted again.
  • SM2L - A game that would have similar gameplay mechanics to Wario Land for Nintendo's Virtual Boy, never completed due to the large number of active objects required for scrolling. This project may be revisited with MMF2.
  • SMB3D:2L - This is a jest. However, this would solve the SM2L problem.
  • Unnamed - Currently under development.

Notable minor projects:

  • Losenge - Improv. Game Contest #2 winner. The object was to avoid the word "Losenge" for as long as you can, The problem henceforth that one is constantly bouncing, and there are platforms that make you bounce even higher; these can help or hinder you.
  • Losenge 2 - Never released. Different modes of gameplay available. File corrupt
  • Untitled - Mario-based Losenge game, but with different enemies and powerups available.

Famous failures:

  • Soveryseizure - Improv. Game Contest #1 entrant. Usage of the Palette Object caused not-so-slight problems with ShadowMan's computer, related to which the administrator showed great anger.
  • SMB3 Leaf Engine - An explanation is not needed. Of note, Mario can walk through the air.
  • SMB3 Complete How-to - This has never been shown to the public and is never intended to be. It is unknown why it is listed in this category.
  • MFGG group picture - Self-explanatory. This offer may appear again in one form or another.

Xgoff was an avid user of ZZT a few years ago during its peak in popularity. However he only completed one game.

ZZT games:

  • Mario's Pitiful Adventure - Pitiful indeed. The only finished game, which showed great console-based bias. One was to defeat Bill Gates, destroy the X-boxes and save the Golden Gamecube and the Princess.
  • Mario's Pitiful Adventure 2 - There was no MPA2; it was the name of MPA3's remake after numerous file corruptions.
  • Mario's Pitiful Adventure 3 - Super Mario World 3: Mario's Pitiful Adventure 3 continues the story of MPA1. This installment was not so pitiful, in fact it had effort put into it. Therefore, it is no surprise to note it was corrupted.

Currently, Xgoff retains his habit of starting and stopping many projects that have little relevance to each other. His main fangame project is in the planning and character/level design stages. Whether it will actually progress into a game or just remain a concept is unknown.
