WreckingGoomba found [[MFGG]] while looking for sprites to be used for his [[fangame]] [http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/games/179756-super-mario--quest-for-the-golden-mushrooms Super Mario Quest For The Golden Mushrooms]. Firstly, he didn't get attracted to this site at all, he just found it a site for showcasing stuff, nothing more. When his game was ready, he created an account and submitted it. It got declined, and he was mad, like most every newbie would be, and he said to himself that he would never submit to this site again. However, when looking for [[sprites]] again, he discovered it was a nice place. When the demo of his new game called [http://mfgg.net/index.php?act=resdb&param=02&c=2&id=26324 Super Mario Ztar Curse] came out, he submitted it again, and it was accepted. Over time, WreckingGoomba began to like [[MFGG]] more and more, and later posted all of his [[fangames]] here.

WreckingGoomba, also known as Djemiegoomba, joined the main site on July 30th, 2011 and the forums on August 3rd, 2011. He started not being active, but he became on like May 2012, however he did respond on his own topics before that. Since then, he started to get more well-known, and nowadays he's one of the more popular MFGGers. His interests are programming in Game Maker, spriting and designing levels for games.

Finding MFGG

WreckingGoomba found MFGG while looking for sprites to be used for his fangame Super Mario Quest For The Golden Mushrooms. Firstly, he didn't get attracted to this site at all, he just found it a site for showcasing stuff, nothing more. When his game was ready, he created an account and submitted it. It got declined, and he was mad, like most every newbie would be, and he said to himself that he would never submit to this site again. However, when looking for sprites again, he discovered it was a nice place. When the demo of his new game called Super Mario Ztar Curse came out, he submitted it again, and it was accepted. Over time, WreckingGoomba began to like MFGG more and more, and later posted all of his fangames here.

Projects

In his early days, WreckingGoomba used to scrap most of his projects early in development. Here are some examples:

  • Goombot 2 - This game was scrapped nearly halfway after the engine was completed. He found that it would be too difficult to add some of the things he wanted to this engine.
  • Bowser's Koopa Troop - Scrapped before even finishing the first level. WreckingGoomba wanted to create something else.
  • Unnamed Kirby Game - WreckingGoomba scrapped this because he wanted to go back to his Mario game because he appreciated the Mario franchise a great deal more. He found it a great experience to create a Kirby game, though.

But of course, WreckingGoomba has finished some projects. A lot if you count his games before he joined MFGG, but this list only includes his games submitted to MFGG.

  • Super Mario Ztar Curse - His first game accepted on the main site. It doesn't have friction and other 'special' features but it's just a basic platformer, even without ?-blocks. At least he made the engine himself.

He is currently developing Super Mario & The Elemental Orbs. On 2016, WreckingGoomba released a Mega Man engine, which is called Mega Engine.

Secret Santa

His first and only Secret Santa was 2012's one. He made a gift for Wiiboy4ever called Donkey Kong Tower. It's a digital board game you can play with up to 4 players, and the goal is to be the first to collect 3 hearts. It was one of the few gifts that's not a ref art.

Nite Shadow was the one who made a gift for him. It was a small game programmed in Multimedia Fusion which contains 3 presents. When you click on them, a gift will pop out. The 3 gifts were images of Mario, Kirby and a dog. WreckingGoomba liked his gift, which was also one of the few gifts which was not art.
