The IT is a spriter who is very well known on the mainsite for his large amount of sprite-work. He joined the mainsite on July 14, 2006. He later joined the MFGG Message Board on September 12th, 2007, however, he has never made a post on that forum. Every one of his 105 submissions to the Mainsite are spritework.

History

The day that The IT joined the mainsite, he posted a recolor of Bowser (from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga), with the original Bowser sprite's underground palette. After this, he was fairly inactive on the mainsite for quite some time. However, on January 18th, 2007, he posted a large sprite sheet in the style of Super Mario Bros., including a lot of custom recolors and edits. Since then, he had started posting rips and edits extremely often. Roughly a year later, he began creating his own sprites that were completely custom. It wasn't until 2009 that his submission rate slowed down (though he could hardly be considered a rare submitter, as he almost always made at least one submission a month). By 2011 , however, his post rate slowed down dramatically. He generally only posted two sheets every other month. Though, he did pick up speed in 2008, going back to several sheets a month. He did not, however, post a single sheet during 2013. And in 2014, he has only posted one sheet. He seemed to greatly enjoy making sprite sheets in the style of Super Mario Bros.. In fact, 42% of his sprite submissions up to 2007 were in Super Mario Bros. style. Though, after 2007, only 15% of his sprite submissions were in Super Mario Bros. style.
