what was the point of your edit exactly :[

I honestly think it looks much better with only a left-hand marker, and it looks weird with the key off all by its lonesome -Draco Icebane 01:28, 26 November 2007 (EST)

Makes sure the key is kept separate from the text, which is a lot neater. Besides, that's what Wikipedia do. Might be better with a slightly bigger key but meh -Black Squirrel 09:24, 26 November 2007 (EST)

actually wikipedia has all the text left-aligned, and the image (if any) has about 16 pixels of space on either side of it --Xgoff 10:37, 26 November 2007 (EST)

if you want it to be closer to wikipedia, it should look like this:

I had originally thought of that, but I think it would be better to try and make something that doesn't look like an exact clone of Wikipedia's. Because originality is better and stuffs. Also Wikipedia's images are twice the size of ours so it would probably need tweaking anyway -Black Squirrel 11:38, 26 November 2007 (EST)

tbh there's not much point to using official wiki software if you want to deviate radically from wikipedia's style / appearance -Draco Icebane 01:35, 27 November 2007 (EST)

I thought the concept of using Wiki's software is for the way all the pages and stuff are stored and organised. I'd much rather things like these looked different to Wikipedia's. Makes it more original. Surely we can use the software without being forced into making clones. -Black Squirrel 03:17, 27 November 2007 (EST)

i think it would be neat to redesign the entire site layout to appear more MFGG-like

and less white would give me less headaches --Xgoff 10:48, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Only ShadowMan and RII can do that unfortunately. Retriever II doesn't do skins and ShadowMan didn't know how to change it last time I checked.

Best we could do is put a whole load of CSS stuff on every page. Which considering there's 3000 odd pages would take forever, even if it were a template. But yeah I don't really think purple/blue on white gives off a MFGG "feel" (or a Mario one). -Black Squirrel 11:09, 27 November 2007 (EST)
