Talk:Derrike G.

From Mario Fan Games Galaxy Wiki

Blanking out pages is against the rules. If there's stuff you don't want in your article, please feel free to edit it out. However, at the very least you should keep your basic template. -VinnyVideo 02:40, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Wouldn't he have the right to add a {{delete}} tag? It's his page, after all. Not that I condone blanking it. - User:Puddin (T|C)
Well, Derrike G. is a pretty notable MFGGer, so there should be a page for him, since a bunch of other pages link to this article. -VinnyVideo 16:00, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
So... should I revert this to the previous version? - Superdimentiobros

Tricky situation, so I'm bringing back the page with just a memberbox and a brief, factual line. - Puddin (T|C)

He's a permabanned member. So, I think that this action shouldn't had happened. Besides, even though TheJoey is no longer a Sysop on here, I believe what he once said was his policy - "Perma's on the forums, perma'd IN REAL LIFE" - should count in this case. Plus, what he said in his edit summary, "I would rather this not be here," is clearly showing that he has something to hide, most likely regarding his permabanned status. Blanking his page doesn't even hide anything. And when did Joey say that? Should we delete all the other banned member pages too? I'm not being facetious -- it's a serious question. - Puddin (T|C)
By 'this action', I was reffering to Derrike blanking his page. Also, I wasn't stating that banned members should have their pages deleted. And if you have a look at TheJoey's logs, you would find this:
20:08, March 12, 2010 TheJoey (Talk | contribs) changed block settings for General (Talk | contribs) with an expiry time of infinite (account creation disabled, e-mail blocked) ‎ (Perma's on the forums, perma'd IN REAL LIFE)
That's was what I was on about. - MFGG Member Ah2190 (Talk) 11:18, 16 February 2012 (EST)
Oh, my bad. I thought you were saying I should have deleted the page. - Puddin (T|C)
Well, sorry for the ambugious answer I had given back there. At least I've cleared that up. - MFGG Member Ah2190 (Talk) 11:24, 16 February 2012 (EST)

Also, for the record, Derrike G. was only banned on the IPB forums, and I think he had an account on the first phpBB forums (though I'm not positive about that, and I wouldn't know because I think those are gone for good). And General was banned on the Wiki because he was an extreme case of a troublemaker. -VinnyVideo 22:15, 16 February 2012 (EST)
