Super Tanooki Goomba is a fangame by Superdimentiobros. It was his entry for Minigame Competition #14, the theme of which was "Goombas." It won.
Gameplay
In the game, the player controls a tanooki goomba with the arrow keys, and can press space to spin their tail to attack enemies. They must avoid or defeat enemies until they get hit so many times that they run out of health, at which point they die. The game also has an online highscore system.
Reception
STG won the competition. It's been praised for its addicting gameplay and online highscore system. It currently has an average review score of 7 on the main site.
