Super Paper Mario World is the final, official sequel to Paper Mario World created by Yoshiman. The project was started due to Yoshiman's determination to create what was to be, superficially, the real sequel that should have been produced. Because of his work with the original game, and the original sequel, as well as his vast knowledge of both, he intends to ensure that the sequel become a good-quality, innovative and better-performed game than the original, while staying true to the intentions and general designs of the original Paper Mario World 2.

Story

Following Paper Mario World's story, after Mario had vanquished Smithy in a final duel, Mario and Kirby relaxed from their world-saving duties. After the passing of weeks, horrible news is suddenly released. Bowser has managed to get a hold of electronic equipment, capable of altering the neurotransmitters of brains to submit to Bowser's commands. It's also revealed that in order for the machine to function, six Chaos Emeralds are required for power. When one is found, and used for testing purposes, other video game realms begin to unravel into chaos. The story begins with Mario and Yoshi planning a surprise party for Luigi, completely oblivious to these facts.

Gameplay

The game is a two-faced genre. One genre is platforming, running, jumping and performing other moves in a 2d scrolling environment. The other genre is mouse interface. Players will use the mouse to solve puzzles, create paths, rotate/move objects, eliminate enemies, and a lot more. The two elements are combined, with multi-tasking in mind and constant thought through the creation process, so as to keep the players on their toes, while at the same time not making it immensely difficult.

Graphics

To keep the tradition and theme, and the primary objective of Paper Mario World's graphics, the elements of Paper Mario and Super Mario World are fused together. Through the use of custom sprites and quality resizing, the two graphic concepts contrast in an art form.

Music

So far, music is all being produced/remixed by Yoshiman. The music will vary from original tunes, to remixed songs from Super Mario World and the Paper Mario series. The overall genre will be general Techno and Electronica Big Beat.
