About SPBW

Super Paper Bowser World (or SPBW) is a fan-made sequel to Toodles Team's Paper Bowser World, Paper Bowser World 2: Operation G.R.O.M. and Paper Bowser World 3.

SPBW was announced on June 3, 2011, and has had several engine changes since then. It was originally being developed by a partnership between Dazzle Games and Blue Guy Games, Exoticus Team. After a fight within this team, Blue Guy quit as spriter and left the SPBW project. Shortly after, SPBW was canned.

D-Dazzle Returned to MFGG after a long time of being kept up by personal issues on September 23rd. He also announced the new website, forums and twitter of Subarashii Games, the new company that will be making SPBW.

As of September 23rd, SPBW is officially back in development and a teaser trailer is to be released at the NCFC 2011, wich starts October 23rd.

Gameplay

Super Paper Bowser World will have a gameplay similar to the first three Paper Bowser World games, but will also have some epic new features. For instance, players will always return to a certain place, where they can revisit completed levels, and enter shops to buy meat, and other powerups. This system will be similar to Fliptown in Super Paper Mario. Also, the partners announced earlier where cut back, and will not be present in the final game.

Graphics

Seeing as the game was not ever completed, many graphics were needed for enemies, NPCs, etc. This is where Blue Guy came in. He is in charge of making most of the sprites for the game, along with touching up the other members' works.

Plot

Super Paper Bowser World travels to the Waffle Kingdom (from Luigi's tales in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door). The only thing known so far about the story is that Bowser has been captured by unkown creatures, and whisked away to the Waffle Kingdom.
