About SPBW

Super Paper Bowser World (or SPBW) is a fan-made sequel to Toodles Team's Paper Bowser World and Paper Bowser World 2: Operation G.R.O.M.

When the first demo was released in late February, it received very positive comments from various MFGG members. Toodles Team came back to MFGG for a brief period of time to review SPBW, and give some advice to the creator. The engine has been completely redone from scratch twice since then.

SPBW is being developed by Dazzle Games and Blue Guy Games, using the collaborative name Exoticus Team. The release date was announced on June 3, 2011.

Gameplay

The game plays much like Toodles Team's demo of Paper Bowser World: Back in Action, however, the creators have not stopped there. A video was released on the official site that showed Kammy following Bowser, hinting at partners in the game. Bowser also seems to have the ability to turn into Mega Bowser, which possibly means that Micro-Bowser will also be in the game. 8-bit Buddies make an appearance as well. Many features have still not been announced, but MFGGers wait anxiously for any new on the game.

Graphics

Seeing as the game was not ever completed, many graphics were needed for enemies, NPCs, etc. This is where Blue Guy came in. He is in charge of making most of the sprites for the game, along with touching up the other members' works.

Plot

Super Paper Bowser World travels to the Waffle Kingdom (from Luigi's tales in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door). The only thing known so far about the story is that Bowser has been captured by unkown creatures, and whisked away to the Waffle Kingdom.
