Super Mario Sketch is one of MFGG's earlier Mario fangames. It was the first fangame to use graphics made completely from drawing sketches rather than sprites which, while an interesting concept that was executed well in terms of the graphics, used the default platform engine, and suffered greatly because of this. The game received mixed to negative reviews, often citing said use of the default engine as a bad point, while noting that the handdrawn graphics were a powerful strong point.
