Super Mario Pearls of Wisdom is a 2D sidscroller developed by Firestyle. It serves as a spiritual sequel to Firestyle's Super Mario and the Sacred Bells.
Mario and Luigi have been invited on a cruise by Peach and Daisy. However, Tatanga causes chaos for the friends and plots to take over the Mushroom World! Help Mario locate the 6 Pearls of Wisdom and defeat Tatanga's forces!
The player plays as Mario, and has to go across 8 worlds of 4 normal levels. At the end of every world is a boss level. Throughout the levels are several powerups such as a mushroom or fireflower. Mario can use these to his advantage. There are also Blocks and Brick Blocks scattered across the level. When Mario hits one, several items can be retreived from them such as coins, mushrooms, and various powerups. The game also has vegetables that Mairo can pluck and carry, and then lob at enemies. Sometimes when a vegetable is plucked, items such as mushrooms and coins are sprouted instead.
