Super Mario Galaxy Theory

The Super Mario Galaxy Theory is a theory that was developed after Super Mario Galaxy was announced in E3 2006. It was believed that because this Mario game shared a similar name to "Mario Fan Games Galaxy", the game's success could lead to more people accidentally discovering MFGG through the use of search engines, therefore generating more traffic and possibly causing problems on both the forum and main site.

Many believed the forums would be overrun by newer members looking for this game and that the amount of them may have been difficult to control by the current admins and moderators. Some also thought MFGG's bandwidth would be used up more quickly, therefore forcing the site to close for long periods.

It has since been revealed that after the release of Super Mario Galaxy the game has not had a significant effect on MFGG's traffic, nor has it caused any unusual influx of new members.
