Super Mario Bros. Level Master is the first level editor released by Hello. It was later succeeded by Super Mario Bros. Game Master, and later, Mario Editor.
Overview
This game was designed with the Hello Engine 3. Here, the player is able to create levels using one of the many tools this game offers, but the player must use the buttons on the keyboard to activate a certain 'menu' where he or she could select an item from that pop-up box, such as enemies and items.
And when the player starts the game up, Mario appears in a small map, and three items to go to: a Toad House where he could get a special item, a flashing blue block where he could choose a saved level the creator makes, and a castle where the player could make brand new levels.
Reception
This game was well-received by MFGGer's. Many people liked to use this game as an alternative to Ting Thing's Mario Builder, even if some people preferred it over Super Mario Bros. Level Master. But some people complained about trying to memorize every single shortcut to activate a menu and called that part "Un-user-friendly".
