Super Mario Bros. 3 (Short for SMB3)

Super Mario Bros 3

is a game released by Nintendo similar to Super Mario Bros, sequel to Super Mario Bros 2. Unlike previous Super Mario Bros games, SMB3 had new and better features and better graphical palette.

New Features

-New powerups (Racoon leaf, Hammer, Tanooki, and Frog) -Bonus levels such as matching cards, hammerbros battle, pick-a-box, and roulettes. -Flagpoles are replaced to panels -New enemies -New items -Map system

SMB3 Clones

Since most engines based on SMB3, such as Hello Mario Engine. Due to many lack of effort in some fangame entries, most fangames use SMB3's graphical style, and it become very overused around MFGG in some cases.
