Super Mario - Red Scare is supernova's minigame he made for his hosted minigame competition. Although SM-RS disqualified as a minigame entry, this game received many positive feedbacks.
Story
Bowser is getting tired of the old ways. Now, he started to use his new communist army to take over the whole Mushroom Kingdom and share the wealth with his allies. Now it's Mario to fight back the aggressive Koopas once and for all.
Gameplay
You play as either Mario or Luigi survive many rounds of madness in this side scrolling defensive shooting game. Many special features like pickable weapons, grenades, hijacking vehicles and anti-camping system. It also features an online score system.
What The Heck Is Going On?!?!
Supernova also submitted this game to Game Jolt and his game ended up fairly popular (out of no reason) in Russia. The numbers of players skyrocketed to almost 5000 per day for about a week. Many Russian website posted about this game's originality and silly plot.
