Introduction

Spritanium, more commonly known as Spritey, is a relatively well-known MFGGer. In his spare time, he enjoys trolling YouTube and Yahoo Answers, as well as playing Left 4 Dead, Gmod, and Team Fortress 2 (to a certain extent). The semi-popular Take This Face fad was started by him.

Spritanium is known for his tendency to protest any and all changes made by the MFGG administration. His name is NOT Spiritanium.

2005: The Beginning

Spritey joined the MFGG forums in April 2005. Though he was 11 years old at the time, he had already developed an interest in spriting. Unfortunately, he was, as most 11-year-olds are, very annoying. His nearly perfect grammar, as well as his obsession with himself (to the point of calling others "inferiors"), made him a pretty uncool guy at first.

Though nobody really liked him for over a year, Spritey gradually began to fit in more and more.

2006-2007: Rising of a Champion

By 2006, Spritey had dropped his tremendous ego. He was more well-mannered, but his perfect punctuation and capitalization still made him a slight pain. During this time period, Spritey began to improve his spriting skills by entering nearly every Sprite Competition. To further improve his spriting abilities, he became a valuable contributor to Bacteriophage's R/B Hoenn Project, in which every 3rd generation Pokemon was to be sprited in 1st generation Gameboy style. The project was never completed, and was eventually forgotten.

In 2007, user Bill Ding posted a topic in the PPP entitled "I want to make a flash", with the subtitle "but what of?". T-Man was quick to respond with "Me". Shortly after that, Spritanium posted, "I can be t-man's trusty sidekick". Eventually, this grew into the concept of a full-fledged flash "motion picture". Unfortunately, while the movie was discussed for quite awhile, not very much animation was done. In 2008, the project was canceled.

2008-2009: A Cool Bro

By 2008, most people had accepted Spritanium. He started being recognized more easily, even to the point of including him in drawings without having been requested to do so. In the summer of 2008, Spritey developed a new hobby: Youtube poop. Though YTP was generally looked down upon, Spritanium, influenced by WalrusGuy (among others), knew that the concept of YTP could be taken beyond simply speeding up and slowing down parts of a video. Spritey's first major YTP was Hotel Mario Bloopers; it's also his most popular. It was a simple chroma key test that featured some of the Hotel Mario cutscenes with explosions added. Because of this video, Spritanium has become well-known for his explosive videos. Another well known video of Spritanium's is called "RabbitRoll". It features Colgate's Dr. Rabbit, a popular YTP material, singing the chorus to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". Spritanium promised a full mp3 of the song once the video reached 20,000 views. The video now has more than double that, but, as he often states, "laziness has gotten the better of [him]". He hopes to continue making YTP's in the future.

In 2009, Spritanium began to take a liking to Source games. He plays Left 4 Dead most often, though he also owns the Orange Box (which includes Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episodes 1 and 2, and Portal) and Garry's Mod.
