Introduction

Joined MFGG around 2003 before the forum moved from vBulletin to Invision Power Board. His first post was an advertisement for an empty EZBoard community he had created. At that time, advertisement was frowned upon, even in the Pointless Post Palace. He has since come a long way as a member. If only he didn't get into so many arguments... He ranks number one on the total post count and has won one of the flooding contests that was held to test the current server. Was a moderater at one point in time but quit due to stress. SonicProject is easy to befriend, but he has a tendency to get very defensive when he disagrees.

Recent post count milestone

48,000

Talents

He is decent when it comes to digital art such as spriting and vector art. Won a few times in the sprite competitions and got runner up in a drawing competition. Kinda afraid to try new things such as music composition. When it comes to Fangames, he rarely finishes what he starts due to lack of motivation. Likes to think he has a nack for minigames, however. He normally develops his fangames in Clickteam products and has a tendency to scrap his projects.

The following sections bring to light some of the things that make SonicProject so argumentative and easily offended.

SP Song

Months ago Duckboy wrote a song on what he felt it was like when SonicProject isn't at MFGG and posted it in the Arts Board. Singing of peace and harmony. Singing of the arguments that frequent MFGG when SonicProject is there. The song was very negative and really got underneath his skin. Just recently the song had been brought back up on this very Wiki by an anonymous contributer. SonicProject objected to such a contribution of course and demanded it be removed. Editing it out himself. However, the battle would not be won easily. An edit war between SonicProject and several wiki contributers ensued. Delmore's and SonicProject's pages were replaced with the lyrics. The lyrics would be edited into random sections of random articles. Duckboy himself made a point of editing it into his article. SonicProject PMed ShadowMan asking him to delete it for good. And he did.

Trashed once again by Trasher

SonicProject was banned for 15 days out of spite. Trasher had been reported to the other admins for acting one-sided in a situation. Trasher shared this report with a member who then posted it on the forums. SonicProject merely replied to this with "I believe reports fall under outside disputes" and was banned for 15 days with Trasher pointing out his signature "OPERATION: I WILL BAN YOU FOR THE SLIGHTEST THING, AND NO I WON'T UNBAN YOU BEGINS NOW" as justification. No administrators were within contact for commentary at the time of banning.

Similar incidents had happened plenty of times in the past with Trasher. All of them actually warranted. However, how this ban was warranted remains unclear.

The situation was eventually resolved, or so it was thought, with SonicProject's ban being reduced to 2 days for flaming (an additonal day of banning prior), Delmore being banned along with him, and Trasher being banned 5 days for cruelty. Trasher and Delmore's bans started a frustrating (for the admins and mods) fad of sig banners and countless topics asking why they were banned and begging for their return. SonicProject got a suprise of his own when he visited MFGG to look at the latest posts and found a locked topic with KingSoprobo identifying himself as SonicProject. Claiming that he was unhappy he was banned at all even though his ban was shortened. Also claiming that admins shouldn't bother to unban SonicProject because he was staying with his family in Florida. This was false. SonicProject lives in Missouri. He would have had to travel overnight. And he was working at the time of the post. SonicProject promptly contacted Captain Jeff Silvers to clarify that it wasn't him before his ban possibly became permanent.

Things appear to have settled down for the time being.
