Introduction

SonicProject joined MFGG a few years ago in search of fangame resources. This was before the forum moved from vBulletin to Invision Power Board. His first post was an advertisement for an empty EZBoard community he had created, ambitious to start a community of his own. Advertisement being frowned upon, he certainly didn't make a good first impression. Whether or not he had improved since is up for debate.

One thing that can be said about SonicProject is that he certainly keeps to his beliefs... having been in countless arguments with various members over, what most will say, foolish things. Though he is not the only member who argues, SonicProject argues so passionately when he disagrees with anything that he has caused much frustration among the other forum members and was, at one time, described as the root of all of the arguments on the forum.

The Ending Became a New Beginning

Being the first legitimate member to reach the post count milestone of 50,000, SonicProject decided that it was time to leave. He requested an IP ban from the boards so that he may pull his life back together without an internet forum getting in the way. The text of his final post is quoted in its entirety below.

"Alright let me make my 50,000th post a milestone in more ways than one. This post is my last.

Celebrate all you want, you're welcome to. After all, I was quite a bitch to quite a few of you trough a staggering portion of this post count. For that, I do apologize. But you see, everyone needs their place to vent. Get everything off their chest regardless of how ridiculous it truly is. I made this place mine. For that I do not apologize. This was the only place that seemed suitable for it... because this community is one that is full of character and opposing views. Despite being absolutely sick and tired of some of you, I will still miss you... sort of. A good portion of you I respect greatly. Some of them being, probably much to their surprise... Draco, Kaepora, ShadowMan, Medaforcer, Toby, etc. If you think you're one of the ones that wouldn't be listed if I actually bothered to list them all, then you probably are.

But don't think I'm doing this as a favor to you. I'm doing it as a favor to myself. My life is centered around the internet. And I'm ashamed of that. It's time to change that. I should've done it sooner. I wish I'd never experienced the internet in the first place.

Say what you want about my inevitable return. But in order to enforce the leave, I'm asking the admins to ban this account from accessing the boards via IP. And I'm sure they'll be more than happy to oblige.

A half a year went by and SonicProject returned from his self appointed ban with the assistance of the admins. He returned with a fresh outlook on life and has so far maintained a calm, low profile presence on the board.

FYI

• SonicProject used to be a moderator on the MFGG forums. However, this proved too stressful and he preferred posting as a regular member rather than dishing out the discipline. According to members of the forum, he wasn't good at modding anyway.
• SonicProject's fangaming repertoire consists of nothing further than minigames and various scrapped platformers. Contributions to the site in the form of resources are a different story. He contributes enough to warrant a Submitter Badge anyway.
• SonicProject is a constant maintainer of the MFGG Wiki.

Contrary to the MFGG Underground Wiki article

"SonicProject is a member who frequently shows hints that he wants to be a moderator, despite the fact he once was and already quit." SonicProject has no intention or desire of returning to his abandoned staff position. He couldn't handle it before and cannot now.

"hates MFGGU and insists anyone should be banned for mentioning it at MFGG" SonicProject does not hate MFGGU because he doesn't know anything about it, however, he does recommend the mention of the U be ceased. Its wiki attacks several members of MFGG, including himself.

"SonicProject is a member of furaffinity.net, which is a furry website similar to DeviantArt. A journal entry on September 28th explained that he "came out of the closet" (gay) and explained he wanted to get into sexual relations. According to the entry he got interested in the master/slave "kink" and ended up meeting a fellow furaffinity member who offered him the position of slave. Expecting love and affection he was naturally hurt and exploited and ended up tied up and trapped in a room. However he managed to escape and get back home because he couldn't take it.

According to the last comment of the journal, he is still friends with beachfox (the master)." This incident happened on a personal site unrelated to Furaffinity. Beachfox was only mentioned in the journal entry because his artwork reminded SonicProject of the incident.

This and many other articles on the U wiki consist of false, and incorrect, information.
