Sonic's Bible Adventure is considered one of the worst Sonic fangames in history. Whereas it was a game hosted at SFGHQ and created before MFGG, it is still the perfect example of how not to make a fangame, and has won the hearts of many older MFGGers because of this.
The game is known for its incredibly short length, horrible sprites, poor gameplay and an overall stupid storyline and game concept. Also, as it was created in Clickteam's oldest product Klik & Play, it is completely open-source. The plot is an adaption of the tale of David and Goliath, with Sonic as David.
It features 5 levels where the player must simply walk right and touch the object at the end. Doing this triggers a boss fight, where Sonic/David has to throw rocks at an object that moves right and left.
At the ending screen a cheat code is revealed: pressing "B" at the title screen activates the Level Select screen.
Trivia
- David throws rocks from his left hand despite holding them on his right hand.
- His bros eat rocks.
- It takes 9 stones to knockout Goliath in this game.
- It's not necessary to kill all Philistines on the final level as touching the last one is what actually clears the level.
