Smilies or Emoticons are small icons that are intended to show an emotion of the author during a post. On the MFGG Forums, they are instead abused like all hell until a fair portion of the populace is sick of them.

Cool
Cool is Mario wearing sunglasses. It is used when you have said something that you think is witty, or have addressed a grand achievement. It can also be spammed just like the others.
Soveryhappy
Soveryhappy is the most popular and controversial of the entire officially adopted set. With its enormous grin and ravenous red eyes, Soveryhappy exists only to make everyone's day a little more creepy.

Obsolete Smilies
Any smilies that either did not last long or were never added in the first place are considered obsolete by this article.
Flabby
Flabby was the prototype for the current laughing smiley, and was edited from Dr. Wario's sprites by Draco.
