Smbmaster99 joined MFGG back around July 2007. Once a not-so-bright member who spelled like a seven-year old from Youtube with the desire to make games, Smbmaster99 has matured into a fairly decent member who now is working on his third serious game Flame the Dragon.

Discovering MFGG

Smbmaster99 during the time he joined was a fan of sprite comics. He would spend lots of time searching for them so that he could make some comics himself. When he found MFGG and all its sprites, backgrounds, etc., he quickly signed up. MFGG was the first place Smbmaster99 ever created an account on, so his knowledge of behavior online was very small. The only place he had ever seen people communicate online was on youtube. Though He did not yet have an account there, he still picked up some really poor online communication skills.

New life on MFGG

After making sprite comics started to become boring for Smbmaster99, he began playing the many games hosted on the main site. Smbmaster99 was heavily impressed with all of them, particularly Hello's many games. Smbmaster99 would play just about any game on the site, and even got into unnecessary arguments over a game being good even though they were not with other more experienced members. Smbmaster99 would comment on many submissions to the main site, many being simple thumbs up-type comments, or unhelpful criticisms on not-so-well-drawn sprites.

Smbmaster99's first game

While exploring the main site, he discovered Hello's SMB1 engine. After this, he purchased Game Maker 7 to begin making what he believed to be "one of the best first fangames evar". After learning some very basic GML coding, he started building his first game, Super (Difficult) Mario Bros This game was met with criticism for its ludicrous difficulty level, but reviewers offered help to the novice game designer. Being the newbie to game-making that he was, Smbmaster99's reactions to the criticisms were mixed. He also responded using very poor spelling, like "i used different SFX, death, & gameover music fer weegee cuz hez kool & many of my friends like him a lot.". Luckily, he got over this fairly quickly.

Other games/ Tutorials/ How-tos

After SDMB, Smbmaster99 stumbled across the engine used in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, and learned better coding much quicker. He began making small "joke" games for laughs and some tutorials/how-tos for new GM users. Here are his "joke" games, and tuts/how-tos

• Mario Has Gas - A "joke" game, if a game is what it can be called. It's really nothing but a cheap engine edit of Hello's SMB1 engine with really high room speed, gastrointestinal sounds, green cloud of smoke when Mario jumps, and a long death sequence.

• Luigi has Diarrhea - A sequel to his "game" Mario Has Gas. It's quality is improved from its predecessor, and includes a few more things that the prior does not.

• SMW Football Chucks - A tutorial/example of how to make football-kicking chucks from Super Mario World. This was Smbmaster99's first example.

• Sniper Joe example - a how-to on how one can create a Sniper Joe from the Mega Man games.

• Zelda Styled HP System - Shows how to make a health system similar to Zelda (DO NOT USE; THE CODING IS TERRIBLE. Smbmaster99 will eventually update this.)

• NO Body the Dragon - Smbmaster99's second game. It used NO Body's own original characters. It is not available online. Or anywhere at all anymore. It was created after Smbmaster99 misinterpreted something NO Body had said about his characters. After a very short period of receiving pms from NO Body and other people, Smbmaster99 removed it from online and even made multiple apology topics in various places. The issue was resolved and now NO Body and Smbmaster99 are good friends.

• Super Morshu Land - An unfinished, possibly canned joke game by Smbmaster99 that was never released. It's a tribute to Youtube Poop.

• Flame the Dragon - Smbmaster99's current project. He has plans to release a demo by New Year's day. After this, Smbmaster99 plans to put it on hiatus and work on other projects.

Smbmaster99 Today/Outside MFGG

Smbmaster99 is no longer the immature child he was when he first joined. He can be kind of random sometimes, but he's always trying to do his best to be respectful and tries to help other people when they have questions about game maker. Outside MFGG, Smbmaster99 has accounts on many other forums, such as Fusion Fangaming, where he has become known as a notable contributor for SMFR and MKF. He also has a Youtube account. He has a Deviant Art account, but doesn't upload to it very much. He might not post a lot, but Smbmaster99 still visits MFGG every day.

Smbmaster99's characters

Smbmaster99's main character is a bright orange, anthropomorphic dragon with bright green eyes, slightly large ears, and a scar beneath each of his eyes named "Flame Sanders". His sprite is an edited version of NO Body the Dragon's character (with his permission). He is known as a "Fengoriyan", which, in Smbmaster99's fictional world, is a dragon from a race of other dragons that have demonic power. Flame is very strong and loves adventure, but is humble and can be shy at times.

Smbmaster99's other character is a very young orange alicorn filly with a blue mane with green highlights. Her tail is the same color as her mane. He uses her as his avatar on just about every site he has an account. He's still working on a good name and backstory for her.

Random Trivia Stuff

• Smbmaster99 is a huge fan of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic TV Series. He joined the fandom surrounding the show after becoming curious at the sudden huge popularity it was getting. After spotting many topics in various places with titles similar to "-Forum name here- Needs Ponies", he decided he'd watch it someday to see what the big deal was about. Shortly after, he thought he was clicking on a youtube poop of the show, but it turned out to be real. Smbmaster99 shortly after became a fan.

• He doesn't like bad language, and will remove comments featuring such words off his videos should they be used by viewers. Smbmaster99 avoids using foul words, no matter the shape size or form.

• Smbmaster99 can't stand it when people don't spell properly on purpose and are serious. After passing through that phase he went through during his beginnings on MFGG, he came to despise sentences and words that looks like: "Yo doodz wazzap?" when the person who typed it isn't joking.

• He loves youtube poop, and even makes his own. He has two "normal" ytps about king harkinian that uses classic sentence mixing and word splicing with a random plot, and the rest of his ytps are very spazzy, including rapid stuttering, split-second jokes, and so on. He tells his friends that it's his goal to make his YTPs look as trippy as possible, while avoiding giving people seizures.
