Shyguy and the Amazing Search for Pudding
SOME1 PUT TEMPLAT HER PZLOL
Shyguy and the Amazing Search for Pudding (SASP) is the first of a series of games created by Admiral Delmore.
Origin and Production
Delmore told the populace of the forums that he was creating a game staring ShyGuy as the central character, and asked for a name. Cutman jokingly replied with the name that was taken seriously as the title for this odd venture.
This game was supposedly lost when Delmore's computer malfunctioned and he purchased another one, as nobody is known to possess the demo.
Gameplay and Style
SASP is an eight-directional platformer. Players could, as per standard at this point of fangaming, become trapped in any of a myriad obstacles such as walls. The eventual goal was to collected pudding cups, scattered across the area. Some were hidden, some guarded by an enemy. Some blocks would slowly float about the area, and if leapt upon would grant a pudding cup and vanish.
If the player collected vanilla pudding, the player would receive ten puddings and be healed. Chocolate pudding granted one pudding and no other benefits.
The player was not forced to collect any pudding, but had to replay levels over if they did not have enough puddings at the end (ten levels).
At the end of the tenth level, the Axem Rangers were encountered; they were leapt upon several times each to defeat them in sequence, although all of them would attack the player at once.
