SMBXFan is an active member, who joined the MFGG main site on December 31, 2015, and the Message Boards on April, 2016. He is one of the newer members on MFGG and is also on the Super Mario Brothers X forums, known as "Reverse back to me". He is currently working on a fangame that is called Mario Jump, which is inspired by Mario Jump and Go, and is making an engine for picking up and throwing objects released on the forums as "SMB2 Engine".

Background

SMBXFan was always interested in computers and technology. He gained interest of video games when he was hearing friends at school that were talking about Sonic The Hedgehog, and the game "Sonic.EXE". He decided to play the Sonic The Hedgehog games, which got him into gaming more. He always wanted to make a video game, so he tried using Visual Basic, but it didn't go very well. He later discovered WreckingGoomba's YouTube channel and his tutorials for Game Maker, which resulted with SMBXfan downloading Game Maker: Studio. He then discovered Shaun Spalding's (who is currently a manager of the Game Maker community) tutorials and rexfurry's tutorials. He also discovered Hello and MFGG, which caused him to play around with Hello Engine, although it didn't meet any good results. He eventually decided to join MFGG and post regularly on the forums.

Submissions

His first submission to the main site was a tutorial for a Mario Physics engine, which happened to be really buggy. Besides the tutorial, SMBXFan has also written reviews on Crazy Lakitu by Wiki, Super Mario: Hard Game, Mario Pong. He also written a review of a demo of Blooper's Revenge, although it got deleted at some point after it got accepted. SMBXFan also made a Mario sprite sheet, which contains the Super Mario World NES sprites in SMB3 style.
