SMBXfan is a member who joined MFGG in April of 2016. He is one of the newer members on MFGG and is also on the Super Mario Brothers X forums as "Reverse back to me".

Background

SMBXfan was always interested in computers and technology. He gained interest of video games when hearing friends at school talking about Sonic The Hedgehog, and the game "Sonic.EXE". He decided to play the Sonic The Hedgehog games and that got him into gaming more. He always wanted to make a video game, and tried using Visual Basic, which didn't go very well. Then he discovered WreckingGoomba's YouTube channel and his tutorials for GM, and then SMBXfan downloaded GM:S. He discovered Shaun Spalding's (who is currently the GM community manager) tutorials and rexfurry's tutorials. But then, he discovered Hello and MFGG, trying to dissect Hello's engine. That was no use. He eventually decided to stay at MFGG and post regularly.

Submissions

His first submission was a tutorial for a Mario Physics engine, which was really buggy. He has written a reviews on the demo for Blooper's Revenge, the game Crazy Lakitu, and Super Mario: Hard Game. He has also made Mario sprite which are the Super Mario World NES sprites in SMB3 style. SMBXfan is also working on a fangame called Mario Jump, which was inspired by Mario Jump and Go, and an engine for picking up and throwing objects.
