RPG Maker

RPG Maker is another Game Creation tool, however unlike the commonly used TGF, [[MMF] and GameMaker, it only specialises in RPGs. However, it is incredibly good at making games of this genre, and some fantastic examples have already been released on the net.

Due to RPG Maker being somewhat difficult to master, and the lack of official Mario RPGs, RPG Maker isn't used much with MFGGers. If it is used, the games created attempt to be like 'Mario and Luigi: SuperStar Saga', 'Super Mario RPG' or 'Paper Mario'. Currently, there have been no completed Mario RPGs submitted to MFGG, or posted at the forums, although there are a couple in development.

It is also possible to make Platform games through RPG maker, although this requires an immense amount of experience using the program, and a Mario platformer has not been pulled off sucessfully as of yet.
