Psycutlery (originally named as Sporklops) is an indie game that is currently developed by Thunder Dragon (with music composed by DJ Yoshiman), who goes under the name of Eyes in Everything. It stars Lillian the Alien, who teams up with a magical spork. The spork can be used to attack objects, or even stick to some of them, which can then be thrown or consumed by Lillian the Alien. Lillian the Alien can grab certain items that temporarily allow her to use special powers. The gameplay overall takes inspiration from Yoshi's Island, the Kirby series, and even Psycho Waluigi.
While Psycho Waluigi used only a keyboard (and a mouse for a little bit) for input, Psycutlery uses a variety of input options, one even allowing two people to use the keyboard and mouse, which can be considered as a co-op mode.
A tech demo was released on January 7, 2017.
Reception
Psycutlery has overall received a positive reception, even during when not even a demo was released, with praise going especially to the game design. On MFGG Awards 2015, Psycutlery was nominated for Most Anticipated, while it won Best Non-Mario Game. Psycutlery won Most Anticipated on MFGG Awards 2016.
