Psycho Waluigi is a platformer starring Waluigi, and was released on October 31, 2011 by MFGG's founder, Thunder Dragon. The game has received several favorable reviews, and the demo won the March 2010 Game of the Month award. It won multiple awards at NCFC 2010 and the 2010 MFGG Awards, and is the only game released on MFGG to have an entry listed for it on GameFAQs and TVTropes. The game currently has a score of 9.9 on MFGG, beating Thunder Dragon's previous game, Toad Strikes Back, by 0.1 points.
Gameplay
Psycho Waluigi is a 2D platformer. While Waluigi is able to jump on enemies, his main attack, and the main gameplay element, is the use of his psychic powers given to him by Psycho Iris. With these powers, Waluigi is able to pick up objects and enemies in the level, and throw them in any direction. Certain enemies have special powers, and if Waluigi grabs these enemies, he gains limited use of their power, represented by a meter in the top left corner of the screen. There are also a few levels in the game where Waluigi controls a tank or pilots an airplane, while using missiles to clear pathways and destroy enemies.
Reception
Pyscho Waluigi has earned almost universally positive reviews, as players have consistency praised its highly original gameplay, wide array of creative (and sometimes zany) levels, engaging story, and high-quality music. It is frequently considered an even better game than TSB, which had generally been ranked as MFGG's best-quality game ever.
