Pointless Post Palace

The Pointless Post Palace was the original forum in the Fun Stuff section of the boards. The forum is decicated entirely to spam, off-topic posting, and general thoughtlessness. Barring prunings, it is the largest section of the message board.

Around August of 2005, it became so large that the database of Mario Fan Games Galaxy was on the verge of collapse as a whole, and would sacrifice the entire board. Thankfully, Retriever II painfully reconstructed and patched the database, but the Palace had to be trimmed down to less than 20% of its original size.

The PPP is a controversial forum. Many people believe it should be removed to "decrease the stupidity" usually seen on the boards. However, others argue that the deletion of the PPP may cause an unwanted backwash of spam into other forums. Sometimes the PPP gets its own "spam," usually from the Help and Arts boards. Said "spam" is usually posted in the PPP because it is extremely active.

The PPP has had many name changes throughout it's lifespan, usually due to an admin's boredom, or because of a certain event that was happening at the time. One of the more popular and fairly recent name changes involved the Walrus from the CD-i game "Super Mario's Wacky Worlds". The Walrus was present in the description of the PPP, and was changed so that it resembles a ghost and zombie form before being removed altogether. Many topics were made regarding this Walrus, and it soon started a fad, however, like most fads in the PPP, it didn't last long.

Users who are temporarily suspended from the PPP are instead sent to Joliet State Penitentiary.
