Permaban

Permabanned members were those who are under an indefinite ban due to severe or repetitive offenses.

Under the old system, permanent bans were issued automatically for high offenses or for dramatic, repeated misbehavior. A user who was suspended within 24 hours of registering was also generally permanently banned. With the induction of phpBB, members who commit ordinary offenses are no longer banned, but face a year's account suspension when their warn level reaches 100%.

Contrary to the name, permanent bans are occasionally lifted, but this is very circumstantial.

High offenses

The following offenses previously warranted permanent ban:

• Rapid, repeated breaking of elementary board rules
• Duplicate accounts, such as ban bypasses
• Compromising server security (cracking / "hacking")
• Unauthorized access of forum members' virtual properties ("phishing")
• Repeated flaming or trolling
• Blackmail
• Under 13
• Severe report abuse
• Excessive spam / unintelligible posts
• Pornography and piracy (bootlegging / "warez")

Requests for indefinite bans are no longer honored.

The List

Here is a list of all members who have received indefinite bans:

• 8bitty: Spam, racism, posting porn.
• Andross46: Bumping tons of ancient topics.
• Backins: Multiple dupes. Was reinstated later on, but eventually was re-permabanned for trolling and excessive complaining.
• Bizarro Rex: Claimed to be Rexator Birdo, who he was not. Demanded respect from and harassed new members. Offended authors of topics involving family deaths
• Biddy: Requested, general trouble. Then helped Cutman (under the guise of The Face) wreck MFGG during The Great Mistake.
• Binky: Spamming the CCC along with Über n00ber.
• BoomerXJ: Requested.
• Chain Chompa: Raids, duplicate accounts, flaming
• Coltranepep: Flaming, posting too many comments, duplicate accounts (only two: "newcoltranepep" and "xenacoltranepep").
• Cutman: "Prank" intended to offend Joey, involving The Face account and gay porn. Had previously announced that he was leaving the forums permanently anyway. Came back using The Face account during a failed prank by Jas and wrought havoc on the forums (see The Great Mistake), but was soon re-permabanned following this.
• Dann Woolf: Flaming, lost control easily and attacked other members often.
• Dark Kamek: (Reinstated) Theft, flaming.
• Davidus Haleus: Threatening entire site, targeting Kritter.
• Delmore: Requested after losing site staff position. Reinstated 14th November 2007. Was then banned again for linking and auto-redirecting to inappropriate material.
• Derrike G.: Breaking numerous forum rules deliberately with the intent of getting banned.
• Dracano Elite: Jokes about his ban rate.
• Draco Icebane: Accumulating a record-breakingly large number of warns over time, and eventually deciding to let go of his final chance before a permaban, during an argument with another member.
• dragonkid: Spamming Arts Board just to increase post count.
• Dr. SVH: Duplicates, flaming administration.
• Duckboy: Trolling.
• Extreme Guy: Requested.
• fat cat: Repeatedly breaking rules, making 2 dupes, goatse in dupe's sig.
• FinalFantasy11Royru: Spamming sprite requests.
• FuzzMaster: Flaming and trolling.
• Giga: Making scenes in GC, requesting permaban.
• Go Buy Melons: Flaming.
• gompa: Spamming with topics about faeces.
• HyperShadow2124123]]: Stupidity rule.
• Iceman3k: (Reinstated) Flaming (including administration), later apologized.
• Jerkus: Saying he only registered to flame members.
• Kenny: Loads of dupes.
• King Piranha Plant: (Reinstated) Duplicates, spam, flooding, flaming.
• KingSoprobo: Impersonation and framing of SonicProject.
• Kirby: Trolling, flaming, repeated duping.
• kirbyrulez: Theft (of forum skins), advertisement.
• Kritter: (Reinstated) Deleted his own account. Returned several times, and asked for a ban several times.
• LocoRoo: Repeated duping.
• Luigi 22 / DanoWorg: Flaming, duping.
• Mariana/Mariodizzy: Bad posting, flaming, spamming.
• Marigi: (Reinstated) Flaming administration. Later apologized and was reinstated. Permabanned again later on for continual trolling.
• Mario Mario: Spamming (oh my god we banned Mario).
• MariooiraM: Stupidity rule.
• Master_Sigh: Flaming and making threats, all in one post.
• MechaBowser: (Reinstated) Blackmailing MechaSonic, among other things.
• MechaSonic: (Reinstated) Blackmailed into requesting.
• Megazario: Spamming and flooding.
• Milkbone: Theft, flaming on discovery.
• Mindstorm: Meaningless bumping, asking for ban
• Mona pizzas: continuous spamming the first page in the General Chat, dupe unknown as of yet.
• Mugenmidget: (Reinstated) Phishing.
• ???MysteryYoshi???: Terrible posting. Suspected of being a dupe.
• OSM: Flaming and other miscellaneous offenses.
• Out of Order: Flaming, trolling, spamming.
• peter917: Spamming the Fangame Discussion, duping (has said that his cousin did those things on his account, though members are responsible for their own IPs). Made several dupes after his ban.
• Petey Pirana: Spamming (burp fart burp)
• Pieman: Ceaseless and deliberate spamming, mostly of the General Chat.
• Pipo Stanley: (Reinstated) Requested.
• pistons1121: Getting suspended a lot of times (10) in a space of only about 2 months.
• President Evil: Spamming, rudeness.
• Pretendo: Racism, flaming.
• Rath: Accumulating an immense list of suspensions, many of which were for repeated flaming offenses.
• RedEye: Flaming, trolling, and generally being obnoxious.
• red panther: Trolling, report abuse.
• Remoga Sanctum: Comparing site to racist persons and groups.
• Retromario: Theft of Super Mario Epic 2.
• Sasuke30: Flaming.
• Sergeant Jinpen: Hacking TouchFuzzyGetDizzy, duplicates, spamming, flaming, sexual harassment. Accounts include Bennykid, Dwangster Pimp 69 and related, Iverto, Iverto2, Timjonic, Psyguyrulez. Reinstated after it was discovered that he had secretly been around for over a year (as "Riley Bungalow") without being suspended, but re-permabanned after another duplicate spree.
• SnakeEater: Continual spamming. Complaining persistently about people using Game Maker just because it did not work on his computer.
• Spidyrand: Spamming, attachment abuse.
• sth_rules: Requested.
• Super Goombario: Extreme stupidity, spamming the main site.
• Tachin: Very bad posting, enormous topic bumps, etc.
• The-Chaotic-Yoshi: Breaking numerous rules in a short time period.
• The Kid: Spam.
• Thundercat: Pornography, dupes.
• TouchFuzzyGetDizzy: (When hacked by Jinpen) Racism, flaming. Reinstated later on.
• Turdlantic: Pornography (of SonicProject). Liberated as James Bradshaw Layfield, banned again later, and eventually allowed back once again.
• Über n00ber: Spamming the CCC with Binky.
• *WII_PIMP*: Large number of suspensions accumulated through spamming, excessive swearing, and trolling, culminating in an offensive e-mail to an admin.
• Yami Yoshi: Rudeness, duplicates.
• zasshou: (Reinstated) Complaining about a ban and posting Goatse.
• ZeldaMalon: Continual trolling.
